ASWASANA — meaning "comfort" in Odia — opened on 6 August 1998 as the first school in Odisha dedicated to children with multiple disabilities.
Over the years, the school has grown to serve 35 day scholars and has supported the integration of eleven students into mainstream schools.
The road ahead includes expanding to a 100-student residential facility and continuing to bring together skilled educators and therapists under one roof.
