Future plan

1.Establishment of HRD Centre for Manpower Development on Multiple Disabilities :

The scenario of Multiple disabilities is very bleak because there are few institutes in the country (2-3) who are preparing manpower in the area of multiple disabilities. It may be mentioned here that the HRD Training Centers in MR, VH, HH, OH are available in the State but there is not centre for meeting the needs of multiple disabilities, which constitute a significant number in the State. Besides the infrastructure, the Institute has adequate faculty & resource to undertake the takes successfully under the support of Government of India. By virtue of being located in close proximity of NIRTAR, VRC, DRC, TCTD, TCTVH in the capital of Bhubaneswar, the proposed training centre for Multiple Disables can draw resource faculty from all these organizations. The Institute will set up the HRD centre as soon as it gets the financial supports and academic approval for instituting the programme. All the necessary formalities have been met by the Institution. Except for the infrastructure, the Institute has adequate faculty and resources to undertake this task successfully.

The institute has very ambitious aims and objectives and accordingly to take up activities to fulfill those to help the disabled according to their needs and to ameliorate their suffering and bring them to the mainstream of the society.

We therefore, need co-operation from all concerned the society. The philanthropic organizations and the Government to fulfill our aims and objects. The disabled are the essential part of the society and they need to be well cared for like the non-disabled ones. It is our sacred duty to provide them with all sorts of care for their rightful existence and economic rehabilitation.

2. Establishment of ITC (Industrial Training Center) for the handicapped persons

The management of the Institute have decided to establish the Industrial Training Centre/ITC of various trades under National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and State Council for Vocational Training (SEVT) for the handicapped persons. In this connection, the Director, Technical Education, Orissa has already been requested for his active consideration and assistance.

3. Establishment of Boarding School for mal Adjusted(emotionally disturbed) Children

Management of the Institute have deeply experienced that in the normal educational system of Orissa majority of the mal adjusted children are not effectively educated particularly in the ordinary Primary and Secondary Schools due to their emotional instability or psychological disturbances and more importantly the personal, social, educational mal adjustment of their parents and family members and teachers of Primary and Secondary Schools.
